Our
new iPC software is the latest in user-friendly interface for ultrasonic
welding systems. The browser-based interface is used to set parameters
and display part data, providing a complete graphical environment for
communicating with the DPC IV ultrasonic system. The iPC software has
context-sensitive online help and electronic documentation. iPC
manages a library of up to 99 user-definable setups on the host
computer.
iPC uses Microsoft's Internet Explorer as a familiar frame of reference.
The user manipulates graphical tools to set parameters and evaluate
part data with the keyboard and mouse of a Windows-compatible
computer or laptop. This software goes well beyond previous interfaces
in terms of ease of use and functionality. Very comprehensive help is
just a click away, and when help is activated, the control in question
remains on screen and active so that the user can read the help and
manipulate the control at the same time. Unlimited technical support
is available to all registered users.
Requirements
Requires
a Pentium 200 or better processor, SVGA 600x800 minimum, color display
strongly recommended, mouse, Windows 98, ME, NT 4.0, 2000, or XP, with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher
installed. For printing, a Windows-compatible printer must be
connected to the computer. A CD-ROM drive is required to load the
software, and our install-wizard software handles the installation.
The software uses any available COM port and a 9-pin RS-232 cable (not

The shipping package includes only the CD-ROM -- all documentation is
provided on CD.
