assembly training available, come to Dukane:
The Introduction to Ultrasonic Plastics Assembly seminar is a comprehensive two-day technical forum designed to provide a general understanding of ultrasonic plastics assembly and its capabilities. Participants will learn practical theory, principles, and benefits of ultrasonic assembly and how to incorporate ultrasonics into their manufacturing processes. The workshops are designed to be very interactive and participatory. To achieve the maximum value, we highly recommend that participants bring their specific questions, concerns, and applications for discussion and analysis. Professional casual attire is appropriate during all our educational programs.
All of the courses are offered at our corporate headquarters in St. Charles, Illinois. Regional field seminars are also conducted in most major cities throughout the United States. In-company training sessions and other training options may also be arranged.
While it is certainly beneficial to attend all of the available training, we recognize that this is not always possible, nor necessary. In such cases, we recommend participants complete a curriculum listed below that most closely pertains to their job functions. You may register for the seminar or a workshop by any of the following methods:
Transportation, Lodging, and Directions to Dukane Each participant will be responsible for his/her own transportation to and from Dukane, as well as hotel accommodations. Transportation information, a list of convenient hotels, and a map with directions to Dukane from our two major airports can be viewed on this website. It is also included in the Catalog of Educational Programs. When arriving at Dukane, please park in the Visitor’s parking area located off of Dukane Drive, which is on the south side of the building. Please use the main entrance located under the canopy directly behind the flagpole.
Cancellations and Rescheduling For a full refund, notice of cancellation must be received by Dukane no later than one week prior to the course. If you must cancel your reservation, please call the Dukane Ultrasonics Training Hotline at (630) 797-4929, to do so. If you cannot attend your scheduled seminar/workshop you may apply its tuition toward any remaining seminar/workshop throughout the year. Rescheduling can be done one time only.

Introduction to Ultrasonic Plastics Assembly - Condensed Format We offer the Introduction to Ultrasonic Plastics Assembly seminar in a condensed one-day format in major cities throughout the United States. If you are on our mailing list, you should receive invitations to the sessions closest to you. If you have not received an invitation, contact your local Dukane representative or your nearest Dukane Regional Technical Center for information on these sessions. These sessions are also offered in Spanish in U.S. cities along the border with Mexico. Many of our foreign organizations also conduct the Introduction to Ultrasonic Plastics Assembly seminar in various locations around the world, so there are several opportunities to attend this session near you.
At Your Facility You can also receive any of the programs we offer at your own facility. These sessions range from a two-hour brief Introduction session for an engineering group to three- or four-hour setup classes focusing on your particular application(s) for your setup and maintenance personnel. We can combine the Introduction session with the Thermoplastic Materials & Part Design session for groups of designers, or with the Service & Repair workshop for maintenance technicians. Organizational Presentations We can present an overview of ultrasonic plastics assembly principles in an after-dinner format for professional society meetings or technical fairs. We can also present Introduction lectures at technical colleges and universities. Customized Training If you have a group of people with need for a special ultrasonics educational program not already described, please let us know and we’ll tailor a session to the specific needs of your group.
