How to send CAD files to Dukane
Send all data model files to Dukane at
us_caddata@dukcorp.com. Be sure to include as much information as
possible about the project in the e-mail: i.e. contact information, project
name, material selection, file revision levels, weld performance criteria,
other related project requirements, purchase order number, and most
importantly your Dukane Sales representative's name. Note: if joint design
information is required, a simple view of the interface between the two
parts for review will improve the engineer’s response.
Data files may be compressed using WinZip or RAR. If the compressed
files are still too large to email, then please notify Scott Ernst at
sernst@dukcorp.com.
Customers sending data to a download site or FTP site must provide
user names and passwords with each file notification.
- Data files should include only the files that are representative to
the bonding process and how they are assembled.
- Tooling Authorization Form (pdf
format): In order to build tooling from CAD files a signed tooling
authorization form must be received along with the purchase order.
Orders can not be processed without these two pieces of information.
Please fax to 630-584-1397, or email to us_caddata@dukcorp.com.
It’s an important part of the process for the Project Engineers to have
all the required information in order to provide you with the best possible
approach to your assembly requirements.
What happens to the file once it’s received?
- We will then burn the information onto a CD and it will be placed
with the appropriate application or sales order project folder.
- The project information will then be distributed to the appropriate
Project Engineer.
How do you know whom the Project Engineer is that was assigned to the
project?
Who do I notify or contact to verify receipt of customer data?
- Contact Applications & Tooling department at 630-797-4930. Once you
know who the Project Engineer is, please feel free to communicate with
them directly.
